Clare-Hope Ashitey Joins Cast Of The New Fox TV Series, Shots Fired

Ghanaian-born British Actress, Clare-Hope Ashitey along with Tristan Wilds and Aisha Hinds join the cast of Shot Fired. Claire, who is best known for her role in the Children of men has booked a role in the new Fox event TV series from Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood, that examines the dangerous aftermath of racially charged shootings in a small town in Tennessee "SHOTS FIRED."

Clare-Hope Ashitey,Aisha Hinds, others join the previously-cast Sanaa Lathan and Stephan James who play the female and male leads in the series, as well as DeWanda Wise in a series regular role.

Ashitey will play Kerry Beck, the wife of Deputy Joshua Beck, who is struggling to keep her family and life together as the media spotlight bears down on her husband.

"Shots Fired" is produced by Undisputed Cinema and Imagine Television, in association with 20th Century Fox Television.  Gina Prince-Bythewood is directing the series and the series is co-written by Gina Prince-Bythewood and Reggie Rock Bythewood, and is executive-produced by Gina Prince-Bythewood, Reggie Rock Bythewood, Brian Grazer and Francie Calfo

According to Deadline, Claire's role in this new is a regular as well. We wish her all the best.
